Quran about people who entering the paradise “will wear green garments
of fine silk.”

Green
has a literal positive meaning as a symbol of life. When the grass, the
farm, and the mountain is not green, then there would hardly any being

them green, so that they can give life to animal. The reason Allah SWT
gives rain to the Earth is to change everything into green.
Sent down rain from the sky and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted. [Al-Hajj (22:63)]

In
Islamic history, green played its own part. It appears as the binding

11. Greenery Gives Life to Muslim
It explained very clearly inside the Quran:
And
it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the
growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce
grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees – of its emerging
fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines
and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its
fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for
a people who believe. [Al-An’am (6:99)]

refreshing feeling to those who surrounded by it. It is also beneficial
for the eyes and helps improving the vision.
So
those are all the importance of green color in Islam. Even so, we
should not think green as the best color and discredit other colors.
Liking colors other than green is not a sin. Let’s give respect for each
color existed in the world.
